Watch a show!
Take your family on a spectacular night out in Brighton and watch the show Sleeping Beauty at the Emporium Theatre! According to The Latest it’s “a show that reflects contemporary tastes without throwing away the traditions of a real panto.” You can enjoy Sleeping Beauty every Wednesday to Sundays at 7pm and on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm, until 17 January 2015. The show is suitable for children ages 5+, as it does contain some ‘pantoscary’ effects and a few whizz-bangs. Tickets are £12 to £25 per ticket.
There are different places in Brighton to meet Santa, including the Royal Pavilion, Preston Manor or at his grotto in Churchill Square. The latter takes the kids on a journey to the North Pole to find Santa’s Grotto by following the paws of the polar bear. They will learn how igloos are made, make a snow storm in an alternative snow globe and solve the puzzle of which animals live in the North Pole. Finally, the little explorers find Santa and receive a snow-themed gift. How cute is that?! The little ones can meet Santa every Monday to Wednesday from 9am to 6pm, Thursday from 9am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 7pm or Sunday from 11am to 5pm, until 24 December. Tickets are £5 per ticket.
See a performance!
Head down to the Old Market to see the performance ‘The Boy Who Never Grew Up’ with your family! This classic tale by JM Barrie is a fun-filled music, magic and puppetry performance where happy thoughts take you flying high! “Welcome to the world where you never grow up!” Tickets are £8 per ticket (all ages) and you can enjoy this performance until 2 January 2015.
Pet a llama!
Take the kids to meet Santa at the Llama Park’s Christmas Wonderland, plus receive a Christmas present from the big man! You can visit Santa from 10am to 5pm until 24 December, but keep in mind that Santa needs to eat too and is on his 30 minute lunch break from 1pm to 1:30pm.
