Brightona Charity Motorcycle Event
On 13 October, the streets of Brighton will be filled with over 10,000 motorcyclists for the annual Brightona Charity Motorcycle Event. With this year 10th anniversary , the event will be even bigger and better than before!During this day the Brightona Bike Show is held on Madeira Drive. In this show, you can expect amazing motorcycles, hot rods, live music, stalls and the feared wall of death!
The aim of this Brightona event is to raise money for the Sussex Heart Charity.On the day, thousands of people are set to attend to enjoy the array of bikes, purchase items at the many stalls offering leather wear, bike memorabilia, plus much more to fill your shopping bags. And, dance to classic rock, country & western, rock & roll plus much more at the 4 stages.
The Sussex Heart Charity was formed in 1987 and provides funding for equipment, education and research. It also supports Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation and delivers community resuscitation courses across the whole of Sussex. £20,000 was donated in 2012 (from that year’s Brightona) to purchase vital medical equipment for the cardiac department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
