Q If I arrive early is there anywhere I can leave my luggage?
A Yes. We have a luggage room where you can store your luggage on the day of arrival and on the day of departure. We are charging £1 per item as from 1st February 2012, 50% of which goes to support the NSPCC, our chosen charity, which very close to the umi Team’s heart.
Q Does your hotel have a car park?
A No. The hotel does not have its own car park, but we have arranged a special rate for hotel guests at the NCP car park in Russell Road. Please let reception know when you check in and we’ll issue you with a voucher, reducing your parking fee by about 50%. For details of the NCP car park in Russell Road (including a map of where it’s situated), please visit www.ncp.co.uk We do, however, recommend using the train if you don’t need your car during your stay. The service from London Victoria is fast, efficient and greener too.
Q We will be arriving at Brighton Station. How do we get to you from there?
A Come out of the station and walk straight down Queens Road and then West Street to the seafront. We are the last building on the left-hand side. Alternatively, jump in a taxi – it costs less than £5.00 to the Hotel.
Q We will be arriving at Gatwick Airport. How do we get to you from there?
A Trains from Gatwick to Brighton take around 30-40 minutes and depart every 10-15 minutes.
Q Do we have to pay for internet access?
No. There is free wi-fi throughout the Hotel.
Q Is there anywhere to store valuables in the Hotel?
The majority of our rooms have free safety deposit boxes. We also have a Hotel safe where you can store valuables if you prefer.
Q Do all your rooms have a seaview?
A We have a selection of rooms with a seaview. Please indicate this as a preference when you book and we will do everything we can to accommodate your request subject to availability.
