About getting here
Whilst Brighton is an easy place to get to by car, parking in Brighton, especially at weekends, can be a bit of a nightmare. Fortunately, umi has managed to negotiate special rates for its guests at the nearby NCP car park in Russell Road. Park your car here and make sure you let the umi Team know when you check in. You’ll receive a voucher which reduces your parking fee by about 50%, making it the cheapest parking in the city. For up to date information, please visit www.ncp.co.uk
Alternatively, you can enjoy Brighton car-free by using the train – it’s more relaxed and greener too. If you pre-book tickets with Southern Rail, you can travel from London to Brighton from as little as £3! Check out www.southernrailway.com for more info. The walk from the station is about 15 minutes if you’re feeling energetic, but don’t worry if you’re not, there’s a taxi rank outside the station with fares to the hotel costing under £5.00.
Brighton itself is well-served by the public transport system with 24 hour buses on many routes and a day saver bus pass which costs just £3.50, so leaving the car at home doesn’t mean you can’t get out, about and further afield if you want to.
