Shop ‘til you drop!
Summer is almost over (boo!) and the beginning of a new season is coming, which means updating your wardrobe! There is no place better to do so than in Brighton, with its many shops and big-name stores. We will take you through the best places to shop in Brighton.
To shop at Brighton’s independent shops and boutiques, head on down to The Lanes. It is a fun shopping area with a maze of twisting alleyways, offering a mix of jewellery and antiques. Grab a drink in-between shopping at one of the cafes at the Lanes whilst listening to the sounds of live jazz.
North Laine is home to over 300 retro chic shops and boasts the largest selection of independent retailers. You will find a mix of funky and kitsch, with its chic vintage fashion, funky 50’s kitsch and furniture from Mexico. Also, you will find locally made jewellery, metalwork, paintings, ceramics and sculpture. It is truly a unique shopping experience!
When it comes to shopping, London Road has a rich history with its famous Open Market dating from the 1920’s. Also, London Road is known for its amazing food and affordable essentials.
Are you more into the big-name stores? Treat yourself to some Brighton shopping at Churchill Square Shopping Centre! The modern shopping centre offers over 90 shops, is only a five minute walk from the beach and a ten minute walk from the station. Even better, the shopping centre is open seven days a week! Churchill Square offers two car parks as well. There is more to explore outside of the shopping centre as well, as high street offers different shops, international restaurants and high street boutiques.
Last but not least, shop at the Brighton Marina with amazing stores at a stunning quayside location. There are different specialist shops to discover including gifts, accessories, home furnishings and fashion. Tip: eat at the waterfront for some delicious food from all over the world!
