Our time in Ice
Now to 31st May 2013
A new exhibition, based at the ONCA gallery, will be looking at the changing Arctic, through art, music, film and interesting, thought-provoking discussion. As the website says, the Arctic is made up of “layers of ice that can store and preserve, destroy and deconstruct. These layers are now melting. This summer, sea ice reached record lows and as the Arctic disappears into sea and air, so do the frozen memories that have been buried within.” Profits from this event go to support the Uummannaq Children’s home in Greenland.
