Fathers’ Day!

15 June 2014

It is almost Fathers’ Day, which means you can start planning a well-deserved day out for your father (and you of course). Luckily, there is a lot to do in Brighton. We have picked some things for you and dad for an unforgettable day out in Brighton.

Childhood memories
Take a trip down memory lane and take your dad to the Toy & Model Museum, where you can find a collection of more than 10,000 toys and models from all over the world, including model trains dating from the 1860s to now. After a visit at the museum, take dad to the Brighton Pier where you can both have fun playing video games or riding the thrill rides! Just like the good ol’ days.

The ‘high life’
Surprise your dad with a spin on the Brighton Wheel! The Wheel provides 36 glass pods as well as an exclusive VIP pod and will give you an amazing panoramic view of Brighton.  It will take you for three spins, which will take about twelve minutes; that’s enough time to take lots of photos and make fantastic memories. Or you could take your dad on a helicopter flight. The helicopter takes off from an airport near Shoreham Airport. What better way to see an amazing view of Brighton and Hove than from a helicopter cockpit?!

Film buff dad
Is your dad a real film buff? Why not take him to Duke of York’s Picturehouse or the Duke’s at the Komedia!

Catching up time
Catch up with dad over dinner. There are so many restaurants in Brighton! For example, the Ginger Dog, or you could have a pint in one of Brighton’s many pubs, such as the Market Inn pub.
