European Beach Tennis Championships

9 to 11 August 2013

Twenty-one entrants from nations all across Europe are laced up and ready to head to Brighton! The 6th annual European Beach Championship will feature three days of entertaining tennis with plenty of action as the Italian teams try to defend their title.

Great Britain is excited to host this championship for the first time this summer. The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) will be working in conjunction with Beach Tennis UK to also provide coaching workshops and “Have a Go” sessions so you can try the sport for FREE!

ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti said: “These Championships will provide an excellent opportunity to bring this relatively new brand of tennis into the public domain, and inspire more people to take up the sport both in Britain and throughout Europe.”

The players are excited to showcase their talent, so be sure to check out the weekend’s festivities.
