Brighton Summer Pride Festival
The theme for this year’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Parade is Pride and (No) Prejudice and will see around 55 entries from a mix of local community groups, businesses, individuals and national companies.
The Pride Parade sets off at 11am from Madeira Drive next to Brighton Pier. The route takes it along the Kingsway, up West Street to the Clock Tower, down North Street, left onto the Old Steine, past the Royal Pavilion and along Marlborough Place, Gloucester Place, London Road, Preston Road, arriving at Preston Park from around 1pm. The Pride Parade route is lined with thousands of people every year, so get there early to ensure you bag yourself a good spot.
Preston Park is accessible from midday on Saturday 7th August, about an hour before the Pride Parade arrives and with all entertainment and events finishing by 8pm.
Entrance to the park is FREE, but we will ask you for a donation in our charity buckets!
The park will be packed with masses to do, no matter who you are, where you’re from, what you like or how you like it there will be something to interest you. There will be music tents, cabaret, trade stalls, Community village, access tent, food stalls and bars.
