Brighton Pier Night Ride
13 July to 14 July 2013
Finally, summer is here and the heat has arrived! What better way to celebrate than getting active? If you’re looking for a spontaneous journey through starlit countryside, the London to Brighton night ride is for you!
On the 13th July, join in on a bicycle journey from London to Brighton that attracts an upwards of 5,000 cyclists. Departing from London, people of all ages will gather to ride the 60 miles together. If you’re feeling rusty on the pedals, don’t worry! The team sponsoring this event gives many supporting hands to make sure everyone crosses the finish line. This adventurous and fun event will have 3 rest stops along the way and you can register as an individual or ride as a team with friends and family.
The starting point is at Clapham Common, ending in Brighton, and entrants can take away brilliant medals and souvenir t-shirts! Need a ride home? Not to worry. The British heart Foundation has you covered with its Bike and Truck transfer service to take you and your bicycle home.
Entry fee for this is £35. All proceeds go to the Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.
