Brighton Art Fair

19 to 22 September 2013

This year is the Brighton Art Fair’s 10th Anniversary and so it will be celebrated with more art than ever before. It is being held at Brighton Dome. There are some amazing visual surprises lined up, even more fantastic exhibitors, one at just 16 being the youngest ever, and the use of the beautiful spacious Dome café and bar, where visitors can relax and enjoy culinary treats. Once again, they are bringing together over 100 of the best contemporary artists from the UK and abroad. Some have exhibited at the festival before, some are brand new to the event, but their work is all exciting, fresh and exceptional. It really is going to be a very special show. Painters, printmakers, ceramicists, photographers and sculptors will be exhibiting with the most original and eclectic work across as wide a variety of methods and subjects as possible. Artists themselves sell their work direct to the public, bringing a personal feel to viewing and to the buying process. Visitors enjoy meeting the artists - learning about their creative inspirations, techniques and future projects.

Artworks are shown in the majestic and historic Corn Exchange (part of the Brighton Dome) in the heart of the city. The fair has built a very strong reputation for presenting beautiful work in a relaxed, informal and friendly environment.

Tickets: U14’s go free and for everyone else the admission fee is £6 in advance and £7.50 on the door. On the 19th it is open from 6pm – 8:30pm and you can only get in with a ticket bought in advance. The rest of the fair is open from the 20th to the 22nd most of the day.
