On the first Sunday of every November, the world’s longest running motoring celebration takes place. It commemorates the Emancipation Run of 14 November 1896, which celebrated the passing into law of the Locomotives on the Highway Act.
The Brighton Early Music Festival kicks off next week and we are all very excited! The festival is known for doing things a bit differently. For their tenth anniversary in 2012, they brought us aerial dancers swinging from the rafters of St Bartholomew’s Church! This year’s edition is certainly bringing the ‘quirky’ offerings back to Brighton!
